Emily is a MSc student in the Cognitive, Developmental, and Brain Sciences (CDBS) cluster in Psychology. She received her BSc (Honours) in Behaviour, Cognition, & Neuroscience at the University of Windsor, where she investigated the association between subjective cognitive complaints and pattern separation performance in healthy older adults under the supervision of Dr. Kristoffer Romero. After graduating, she spent two years working as a psychometrist in a neuropsychology hospital setting under the supervision of Dr. Anne McLachlan. Her role primarily involved assessing the cognitive abilities of patients with acquired brain injuries using standardized tests. For her MSc work at Western University, she is investigating pattern separation and statistical learning abilities in patients with lesions or seizure activity in the medial temporal lobe, including the hippocampus. She is co-supervised by Dr. Stefan Köhler and Dr. Laura Batterink
